It is plain that a life which includes deep resentment
leads only to futility and unhappiness.
To the precise extent that we permit these,
do we squander the hours
that might have been worth while. . .
When harboring such feeling
we shut ourselves off from the
sunlight of the Spirit.

Mikey, just an Alcoholic.
I will try and be quick. I was given some useful tools about resentments that made me see how silly it was for me to have them. I was told that they are like flowers and if i did not feed then they would die and if i let the resentment die God would not Give me another. I laughed at that and tried never to have another. I was also told A Resentment Is frozen ANGER re-living the same hurt, the same moment in time over and over like the ultimate bad ground hog day. Why would anyone want to do that? I was also told that expectations were linked to resentments. If I had expectations of others then what i had was premeditated resentments: resentments waiting to happen. I think the guy that taught me this stuff, my sponsor , is a cleaver guy, someone to stick close to. Mikey loves you all. God bless, and thanks for letting me share!
